“I’d like to be a president (known) as somebody who liberated 50 million people and helped achieve peace,” Bush said in excerpts of a recent interview released by the White House Friday.
“I would like to be a person remembered as a person who, first and foremost, did not sell his soul in order to accommodate the political process. I came to Washington with a set of values, and I’m leaving with the same set of values.”…

** War on Iraq just one projection of Bush’s death wish **
Bush II suffers from antisocial personality disorder, characterized by:
* Superficial charm
* Recklessness, impulsivity
* A sense of extreme entitlement
* Persistent lying or stealing
* Disregard for the safety of self or others
* Violates the rights and boundaries of others
* Lack of remorse, related to hurting others
* A history of childhood conduct disorders
* Difficulties with authority figures
* Recurring difficulties with the law
* Aggressive, often violent behavior
* Substance abuse
Bush did not intend to bring about any alleged positive outcomes of his imperial adventure.
“God willed it” in Bush’s mind and “oil justified it” among neo-con’s are equally specious cover for a completely trumped up invasion and occupation.
Shia ethnic cleansing finds no moral offset in distant events supposedly linked causally to the initial lies of our post-modern Caligula.
History offers no absolution for the US even should Iraq flow with milk and honey in some distant, unforeseeable future.
Any positive outcome will be nothing but causality running through any of the new channels carved in history by the blood of Iraqi civilians and US soldiers.
